"The Going Home Song" - Some years ago I asked Jim James if he would make a tape of his "blues". This he agreed to and the tape duly arrived. On it was this wonderful song which I have been singing ever since. Indeed one memorable night in 1987, at Krakow "Shanties" I had the pleasure of introducing it to Poland, accompanied superbly on guitar by Ryszard Muzaj. In 1988 I was again in Krakow and was thrilled to hear the Polish translation. 2006 and it's still as popular as ever. Many thanks, Jim.
